Purpose and Goal of the
Ray Joseph Hutchinson Foundation, Inc.
Please permit us, as the parents of SPC
Ray Joseph Hutchinson, to introduce and
explain to you the purpose and goal of the
Ray Joseph Hutchinson Foundation, Inc.
This foundation in our son's name is
unique, not only in the reason it has
been created, but also in the work that
it will accomplish as it sends young men
and women to universities across this
great country, when they receive a
scholarship from the Ray Joseph
Hutchinson Foundation. We have awarded more than $150,000 in scholarships thus far,
ranging from $750 to $3000 each. The Ray
Joseph Hutchinson Foundation is in the
business of making this world a better
place, now and for the future. Each
student who has received this auspicious
award has been carefully selected by
members of a selection committee
from the board of the Ray Joseph
Hutchinson Foundation.
I am the Infantry.
I am my country's strength in war,
her
deterrent in peace.
I am the heart of the fight-
wherever, whenever.
I carry America's faith and honor
against her enemies.
I am the Queen of Battle.
I am what my country expects me to be-
the best trained soldier in the world.
In the race for victory,
I am swift, determined, and courageous,
armed with a fierce will to win.
Never will I fail my country's trust.
Always I fight on-
through the foe,
to the objective,
to triumph over all.
If necessary, I fight to my death.
By my steadfast courage,
I have won 200 years of freedom.
I yield not-
to weakness,
to hunger,
to cowardice,
to fatigue,
to superior odds,
for I am mentally tough, physically strong,
and morally straight.
I forsake not-
my country,
my mission,
my comrades,
my sacred duty.
I am relentless.
I am always there,
now and forever.
